How to annotate a PDF

  1. Upload your PDF (drag & drop or browse).
  2. Choose Annotate PDF, pick a type (highlight, underline, strikeout, note or redact), the page and the area in points.
  3. Download the result and compare it with your original before sharing.

A practical starting point

To highlight a sentence, choose Highlight, enter the page, and give the area as x0,y0,x1,y1 in points. A sticky note takes its text from the note field.

Frequently asked questions

What are the limits of Annotate PDF?

Positions are typed as coordinates in points, not drawn with a mouse, so placement may take a trial. Check redaction output carefully before relying on it to remove sensitive content.

How should I check the Annotate PDF result?

Zoom in on the annotated page and check that the mark covers the intended words. For redaction, try to select or search the covered text in the downloaded file.
